September 12, 2008: on November 11, The Police will release a 4-disc set (2 CD's and 2 DVD's) entitled "The Police: Certifiable" which contains the band's entire concert from Buenos Aires, Argentina. In the US, this special piece - along with Blu-Ray version and three-LP, premium 180-gram vinyl set with MP3 file key - will be released exclusively through Best Buy where pre-orders are already available. In the rest of the world, the album and DVD will be released via all retail outlets starting November 10. The United Kingdom release date for the DVD and Blu-Ray formats is November 24. May 23, 2007: A&M Records will release a double-disc cd collection of 28 greatest hits to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Police recording debut. The compilation, entitled 'The Police Greatest Hits', will be released in the US on June 5 and internationally on June 11. The english edition will contain two more tracks: 'The Bed's Too Big Without You' and 'Rehumanize Yourself'.

May 9, 2007: The Police convene in Vancouver this week to begin final preparations for their reunion tour, which begins on May 28, preceded by a special fan club show the night before.
"It's feeling really good", guitarist Andy Summers tells Billboard.com. "We've all been playing for another 20 years, so I think we're actually much better players than we were even in the Police in the early days".
"There's so many hit songs that we sort of have to do all of those", he says. "We're not doing too many things off the wall. We've got about a two-hour show lined up of famous songs, basically".

January 3, 2007: the year of 2007 started with the news which each Police fan has been waiting for.
Following an article which appeared in the 'Daily Mail', all the medias world-wide have spread the news that the band is planning a reunion in the near future. It would coincide with the 30th years anniversary from the publication of their first ever single ('Fall Out').
So far there is no confirmation about it, but it seems like the group is planning some concerts in UK around May, June.
Moreover, it seems like the band intends to rehearse in January, before the start of Sting's European tour, in order to support the album 'Songs From The Labyrinth'.
It is necessary to repeat that there has yet not been any official statement from the group.
